Meet Our Founder
Sabrina Perrini, Artistic Director and founder of Sabrina's Encore Productions—
Sabrina has been a music and theatre director and teacher for over 25 years. Sabrina holds a Bachelor of Science degrees in both music and theatre education and a Masters degree in choral conducting. Sabrina has directed over 200 musicals throughout her career at regional, community and public school sectors. Her favorite musicals having directed are Les Miserables, West Side Story and Kismet. She has also directed students in choral groups traveling to Austria, Italy and England winning awards for their performances for the Pope at the Vatican and the Austrian youth choral concert series. Sabrina's students have performed on Broadway, European Opera houses, the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall. Many of her students have or are studying music, musical theatre and acting and are pursuing their careers having started their studies with Sabrina's. Her two favorite things to do are being a mom and a teacher. She feels blessed to have four incredible children and many, many students both old and new.
NOTES FROM THE FOUNDER:
My inspiration to become a teacher stemmed from wanting to be there to help and support students while sharing my passion of music and theatre. I wanted to help students strive to reach their goals while allowing them to open up, gain confidence, and become happier, more well-rounded people. As the founder and one of the master teachers, my goal is to provide the children of Newtown and the surrounding communities a rich, in-depth, exciting, fun, and passionate education in the performing arts.
